This course is for anyone who would like to learn how to create a SciFi soldier from a base-mesh all the way to being rigged ready for game engines. Through the heavy use of the concept of iterative design, this course will show you a slightly unorthodox method to character modeling where we will take a less direct approach from start to finish, but at all times being in full design control and making changes and iterations as we go along.

In this course, I'll cover the process of character modeling, hair modeling, texturing skin, costume, and hair, using photos for textures, creating PBR materials, and importing and using Unreal Engine 4.You will be shown a rather unique approach to character design where time and process are second to design and artistic direction and changes. I believe this to be a rather realistic insight into character modeling for games.
